Unpacking the 2020 Presidential Election
Needless to say, I am struggling to process Donald Trump’s failure to win reelection. As usual, my effort is to put emotions aside and assess by employing reason-based examination of facts. This effort will be tedious and ongoing. However, let me share a couple of references that have come to my attention. The first is a video titled The Most Important Election Video You’ll See. I do not know the speaker, but my observations say he makes points that need to be heard and seriously considered by all Americans.
The other is Victor Davis Hanson/US Election 2020. Hanson is interviewed by John Anderson, an Australian. Both the interviewer and interviewee share thoughts and facts that will be eye-opening for any person who is able to hear and examine thoughtful discourse. The interview runs over an hour, but is more than worth the investment of time.
If you are angry and filled with hatred for Donald Trump and for those of us who voted for him, it will likely be a waste of time for you to give attention to either one of these references. However, staking out such a position will only help make a pipe dream of President-elect Joe Biden’s promise to unity America. With that said, I invite readers to respond to my comments and to the references cited by providing any reason-based thoughts, along with similarly reason-based references, that support or contradict what, at this point, is my obvious thinking regarding this election. That is, President Trump should, legally and in the court of public opinion, pursue resolution of all election actions that reflect any indication of illegality or error.

Copied below is one of many comments in response to the Victor David Hanson interview. Doing what this writer recommends will be essential as Americans approach the 2022 elections:
Rob Evans 9 hours ago Copy and pasted…be interesting to see where we stand in a year or two. I am making this post so it will show back up as a future memory on my timeline: Today is three days after the 2020 election. Gasoline is currently $1.80-2.10 per gallon, where we have a strong oil surplus with prices in the negatives.Interest rates are 2.65% for a 30 year mortgage. The stock market closed at 27,848, even though we have been fighting COVID for 9 months. Money from tax refunds have decreased but with tax cuts average Americans receive at least 3k more in there paychecks. Our GDP growth for the 3rd Qtr was 33%. We had the best economy ever until COVID and it is recovering well. We have not had any new wars or conflicts in the last 4 years. North Korea has been under control and has not been testing any missiles. ISIS has not been heard from for over 3 years. The housing market is the strongest in over 20 years. Homes have appreciated at an unbelievable rate and sell within hours of going on the market, with multiple offers. Gallup says 59% of Americans believe they are better off economically under this president then 4 years prior.. Churches having come under persecution in blue states but as Christians we were all thankful that Christians were being defended by this administration. In case our President actually loses this election, then I can remind everyone of how great things were at one point in our history. Keep a copy to compare later. 11-6-2020
